About the Facilitator:
Swati Sodhi, is an English Honors graduate from Lady Shriram College, New Delhi with a Post Graduation in Advertising and Marketing.
She gave up a career in advertising and event management to raise her two boys.
While on her sabbatical she fueled her passion for dance and theatre, which soon led to her pursuing it as a full time career.
She attended several workshops and certification courses to further strengthen her skills.
Swati besides managing the dance school and conducting drama and storytelling workshops for children as well as Parenting and Teacher training workshops, directs, produces and acts in professional Productions.
She has played lead roles in the popular musicals staged in Delhi and Gurugram, like Mamma Mia, I Have a Dream
and Queen Of Rock.
She regularly writes, directs and produces plays for and with children as well as adults.
She directed and produced the hugely successful Annie, with a cast of children and professional actors, which ran to packed houses.
Swati believes that learning is a never ending, evolutionary process and to adapt to the newer ways of teaching through technology, she has recently completed a course in Teaching Drama online.
With an experience of almost 20 years, Swati loves working with children to help them channel their creative energies and conducts regular classes in Drama skills, Creative Writing, Storytelling, Public Speaking and Practising Mindfulness.
